Living the American Dream!

Hi,

I am the co-creator of FranchiseBusiness.com and I want to share brief thoughts on our website, and what it means to me to achieve the “American Dream.”

When I got into the franchise business many years ago, it required me to travel a great deal going from city to city and state to state investigating just which franchise was right for me. It was expensive and very time consuming.

As the owner of several Franchises, I am here to tell you that the information that you provide is invaluable to someone looking to get into being their own boss. “Be the Boss” was my family’s dream when they immigrated from Europe so many years ago. My parents came from a city that was bombed to the stone ages during world war II. They lost everything they had and used the last of their money to buy passage on a steam ship bound to the “Land of Opportunity”. America was the place they made their new home! My grandfather said in some of his letters written home, “The money lays on the streets here! You just have to know how to pick it up”. Wise words from an old man.

Almost 6 generations of my family live here now and for the most part, we have all followed our forefather’s advice. “Be the Boss” echoes in my mind today!
